How many times have you waited for better things to come into your life, and only to see come when others slip away? I don't believe it's a coincidence.
When we talk about letting go, we often think about releasing things or people. Words like flow, detach, and discard come to mind. It's natural to feel anxious about abandoning practices, things, or people that provide a sense of familiarity and comfort.
We frequently cling to things, relationships, jobs, and even beliefs that once played a vital role in our personal development but now offer nothing and may even hold us back. Letting go is not easy; I doubt It ever will be. The role of healthy self-esteem, self-love, and a solid identity in these moments is crucial and transformative. When we believe in ourselves, in our worth, and in our essence, letting go becomes less hard.
The Bible talks about seasons and instructs us that everything has its time. In Ecclesiastes 3:6, it says, "a time for searching and a time for losing, a time for keeping and a time for throwing away." Therefore, we cannot cling to things, ideas, relationships, jobs, or beliefs that no longer contribute to our growth.
As women who know who we are, what we want, and what we have to offer in our businesses, families, and beyond, it's time to release what no longer serves us. It's time to evaluate, analyze all aspects of our lives, be firm, and prioritize. Philippians 3:13 states, "Brothers and sisters, I myself don’t think I’ve reached it, but I do this one thing: I forget about the things behind me and reach out for the things ahead of me." Letting go is as important as learning to receive.
If the parking space remains occupied, there won't be an opportunity for another car to park.
Let go, trust the process, and flow. Better things are coming.
