Puerto Rico continues to shine on the international stage, and this time, it does so with Jennifer Colón, a woman who has set a historic precedent. Making History for Puerto Rico
Jennifer Colón became the first 36-year-old woman and mother of three to represent Puerto Rico in the prestigious pageant. Among the 126 contestants from around the world, she stood out for her authenticity and determination, earning a spot among the 12 semifinalists, a milestone that fills every Puerto Rican with pride.
The model was also one of 18 mothers in the competition, proving that motherhood is not a limitation but an added strength. During the final night, Jennifer dazzled in a stunning design by Eclíptica, created by Fabián de la Fuentes. The gown, made of teal silk tulle with a gold metal piece, evoked the essence of a Greek goddess, highlighting her elegance and presence on stage.
In the preliminary competition, Jennifer shone in a design by Garlate Design from Thailand, called Splendor of El Yunque, inspired by Puerto Rico's tropical rainforest. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline that accentuated her figure and a gradient of colors transitioning from sky blue to vibrant green, symbolizing the sky, vegetation, and abundant flora of the forest. Every detail reflected the pride and natural richness of the island.

Victoria Kjaer, representing Denmark, achieved her country’s first placement since 1963 and also claimed the crown, marking a milestone in pageant history. Nigeria, Thailand, Mexico, and Venezuela completed the Top 5 alongside the Danish queen, in a night filled with emotions and celebrations.
