The Best Shows To See During NYC Broadway Week 2025

Broadway fans can snag 2-for-1 tickets for their favorite musicals and plays in New York City.


Theater goers in New York City can kick off 2025 in the audience of their favorite shows for less with the return of the annual NYC Broadway Week.


Running from January 21 through February 9, fans are able to save big with two-for-one tickets at 27 of Broadway’s most popular shows. On sale now, select two-for-one tickets can be purchased using the promotional code BWAYWK25, while the code BWAYUP25 offers buyers the chance to upgrade tickets to better seats for less at a heavily discounted price.


Shows include classic long-running Broadway musicals, revivals and new shows that have made their way across the pond from London’s West End.

Wicked

Wicked has been playing at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre since 2003 and has long delighted fans. Thanks to the recent release of the Wicked: Part 1 movie adaptation starring Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Glinda, the Broadway show is preparing to break box office records.


Romeo + Juliet

Heartstopper’s Kit Connor and West Side Story’s Rachel Zegler star in the updated version of Romeo + Juliet. Performing at the Circle in the Square theatre, the show was written by Tony winner Sam Gold and features original music from Jack Antonoff.


SIX The Musical

SIX The Musical started as a college project by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss at the Cambridge University and has since become a global phenomenon that has wowed audiences with its modern retelling of story of Henry VIII's six wives from their own perspectives. Performing at the Lena Horne Theater, the musical leaves audiences feeling like they’ve attended a hit pop concert and the show’s finale, The MegaSIX is a fan favorite.


The Great Gatsby

Bringing glitz and glamor to New York City in a whole new way is The Great Gatsby, which opened at Broadway Theatre in April 2024. Heathers original cast member Ryan McCarten will take over the role as Jay Gatsby from January 21, while Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland joins the cast as Daisy Buchanan from February 10.


Left on Tenth

Left on Tenth is a new play by Delia Ephron that chronicles second chances at life and love. Based on the You’ve Got Mail screenwriter’s best-selling memoir, Julianna Margulies and Peter Gallagher are at the helm of the romantic comedy.
